The corrected total serum calcium concentration is normally 8.5-10.2 mg/dL, but there is no sure means of predicting the serum calcium level, for either hypocalcemia or hypercalcemia, at which symptoms will occur. Your reust is to be taken as normal and no need to do anything

Exposure to early morning and evening sunlight, drinking milk, dry fruits, eggs, ragi, oats and all vegetables and fruits, good sleep and exercise will help you improve on those deficiencies. Even after taking the precautions then you need to take homoeopathy medicines as there might be an absorption problem, or processing them. Its important to rectify or else by taking plain supplements may not help on a long term basis.

If your mother has already attended menopause then it's more likely a calcium deficiency. Calcium deficiency is invariably linked to Vitamin D deficiency too. It's ideal to get serum calcium and Vitamin D tests done before starting the treatment. In the meanwhile ask your mother not to climb stairs frequently and lift heavy weight. Please take care of wet floors in the bathroom. She could be prone to fracture in future.
