Hello, if you are suffering from cough cold since how many weeks it is important if it is more than three weeks you hav to do xray chest, cbc, esr and if it have problem them sputum test. It may be due to bronchitis or plu koch's so do all investigations find reason and take treatment accordingly.

Don't worry, cut down on smoking or if possible stop it. Start detoxifying your body now - Exercise daily and take some detoxifying agents - Wheat Grass, Apple Cider Vinegar, GreenTea, Giloye Ras, Gooseberry Juice etc. Daily pranayam will help clear mucus within a week but make sure you don't smoke much again.

1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time the pain remains?
Is there stiffness also?
How is your appetite?
