Mr Bharat, First thing is TSH levels must be between 3 to 4 milli units/ ml, then only the treatment is considered effective, or else dose may have to be increased. Unless hypothyroidism is under good control there is no way to reduce over weight. If TSH levels are normal, then exercise and restricted diet can help her to reduce fat. She should join a gym and do exercise under professional instructions.
