Do not use ashwagandha if you are pregnant. It is rated LIKELY UNSAFE during pregnancy. There is some evidence that ashwagandha might cause miscarriages.

The best way is to take barrier contraception that is you have to use condoms. Any emergency pill taken by your partner can cause harm to her.

Day 7-18 is the fertile period when ovulation generally occurs, considering the 1st day of periods as day1. Before and after that is unsafe. However chance ovulation may occur in stimulation anytime in cycle. Failure rate of this method of cintraception is high. So a safer way to avoid pregnancy will be to use low dose contraceptive pills.

Hi, no need to take pill as it's on 5th day of period. Usually 8 to 21 days you require protection.(this is roughly considering 28-30days cycles. Not same for all).

Pregnancy is a normal physiological process you need not avoid anything except for very hot spicy and junk food and you can do all normal day to day activities provided your pregnancy is normal and not a complicated one.
