Calender method is not a foolproof method of contraception.Ovulation can sometimes be erratic, its better to use a better method of contraception like OC pills , or Depot injections or IUDs

Mala d is an oral contraceptive pill ,has to be taken from first day of period. For unprotected intercourse you have to take emergency contraceptive pill, it has to be taken within 72 hrs of unprotected intercourse.

You need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test.
