No home remedies.
There are many temporary family planning methods like oral pills, injectable hormones, intrauterine devices, condoms, diaphragms, safe period, coitus interruptus, etc. You must know about the success and failure rates of all as well as the advantages and disadvantages of all to decide which suits you the best. Maybe consult gynecologist as a couple. You may listen to audio information about family planning at my hospital site url/mp3/tfp. Mp3.

There is no particular food which must not be consumed during pregnancy.
We usually advise to avoid outside food, only to prevent any gastro-intestinal upset.
Also, fried food consumption may be minimized as it leads to greater nausea and regurgitation. Beyond that, pregnancy is a healthy physiological phenomenon. To be enjoyed and be pampered. Wish you the same.

You can try oral contraceptive pills. But which one suits you depends on whether you are known to have any pre-existing medical problems. Also all medicines have a few side effects. Hence sometimes its a matter of trial and error.
If taken properly they are all very effective in preventing unwanted pregnancy.
