Varicose veins can cause pain, swelling and ulcer formation. Wearing compression stockings where applicable can reduce the pain and other symptoms to a certain extent. Surgery is an option. Endogenous laser treatment is the latest and safe treatment alternative. There are no home remedies as such.

It is better to consult a family physician or a surgeon for varicose veins. The treatment will depend upon the degree of varicose veins but first it should be confirmed whether it is varicose veins.
