If you have an existing heart condition, it could be because of that. You should do low intensity activities and walking. Take raw green leaves as salad or as soup everyday. You will see great improvement in 2-3 weeks.

lybrate-user ,I understand your father condition. Since EF is 30, he needs CABG. If you are not willing for surgery you better go for ECCP treatment to relieve the heart block, many centres are available. I do not known from which area you are from, or state- you have not mentioned. You can have ECCP in your area, that is the only alternate to CABG. Other system of medicines will not work much. If the EF reduces further your father will have serious problems, so act swiftly do not delay.

Left ventricular ejection fraction 30 percent means your heart is working at lower reserve.
Some will get improvement over time with medical management over 3-6 months.
In this situation treatment should be supervised by cardiologist as it needs further evaluation like angio.
