avoid forward bending n lifting object n ground sitting n long time sit or stand
maintain urs postuer
use lumbar belt n hot pack n analgesic cream on painful area
take rest till pain subside.

You can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. You need to have pain killers and hot back treatment when you have pain. Take plenty of rest. But after the pain goes away, you need to walk for 30 mins at least and do lower back physiotherapy exercises every day twice to avoid taking pain killers.
