My dad have severe intense pain in rectum since 20 years. My dad have no bleeding, no constipation, no piles ,no fissure. Sometimes with this pain what happen is my dad is not able to pass the gas, or the gas get blocked which again leads to pain in head, eyes, muscles, it just feel like there is nothing in the body, the veins of hand or legs start visible clearly, with that the main trigger point of pain is just that one point in rectum. The pain is beating in the rectum just like the heart beat. We have visited many doctor various reports like sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy are normal. Every doctor says everything is normal. One doctor says there is anal papillua which is the cause of pain. My dad gone through surgery and doctor remove the papillua but even after 2 month of removing papillua my dad have intense severe non stoppable pain. We are not able to find what is the root cause of pain. My dad take very very simple diet, non spicy food just dal roti sabzi, no meat no egg, no milk. But even after this there is lot of pain. Please help us.

I am suffering from piles from last 2 months. I had typhoid 2 months ago and also had ulcers in my stomach. I drink 3 litres of water every day. Drink 500 ml milk and take buttermilk daily. I have hemorrhoids for more than 10 years. Recent last 3 to 4 years faced no any issue, only 2 to 4 times mild bleeding in a year. But recently, from june '23, I felt serious pain in external small hemorrhoid - first its colour like normal skin but now color change to pink and also some cream colour sticky liquid releasing, smell like fishy. Maam, I am a 35 years old female. I used to have painful motion with bleeding which leads to fever after sometime. I had himalaya pilex doubting it to be piles. I got temporary relief from pain and bleeding but it keeps occurring after some days. Am I having hemorrhoids as I have a small flesh like tag on the anus line? Or am I having anal fissures? Please help as I am scared of the shivering fevered and the pain and also I am anemic.

Pain and bleeding during or after defecation may be because of anal fissure/haemorrhoids. As you are experiencing tag around anal verge, it may be external haemorrhoid or anal tag. I will suggest yuo some preventive measures
1. Avoid oily and spicy foods specially fast foods 2. Take high fibre diet having plenty of friuits and vegetables
3. Use laxatives/stool softener before going bed. 4. Drink plenty of water. 5. Do sitz bath twice/thrice in a day.

Health Query

External piles and fissure that is painful. Bleeding while poop and pain and irritation last for next 6 to 7 hours after poop. Please recommend any medicine for quick relief as I am out of station.
