That't not the case. During periods your metabolic rate will be rate which might may not make you realize the pain as if the body has good basal metabolic rate you will have good tolerance of pain that may not happen during your off period time. That time your bmr will be less you will definitely feel more heel pain. However for heel pan keep ice pack in the painful area and also you can dip your foot in the bowl of hot water (bearable heat) which will help you to come out of heel pain.

this may due to high uric acid so stop heavy protein and sugar.
Drink more n more water.
Walk.
Use sleeper at home.
Do hot fermentation at pain area.

Swimming initiates pain on the sole, do under water walking use silicone insole do ultrasound therapy for the pain in nearby physiotherapy for 7 days along with take spinach_ alternative days and lady's finger and take a small bowl of papaya and pineapple, if the pain not reduced start stretching exercises of calf followed with mulligan taping as per the physiotherapist assessment.
