What r other symptoms that you r experiencing?
By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time the pain remains?
Is there stiffness also?
How is your appetite?
R you constipated?

Tightness of chest may be due to cardiac disease, lung disease, disease of the ribcage or pleura or even due to Acid peptic dsorder. Since you have been examined by a doctor he must have ruled out most of the physical causes. So probably you problem is either due to APD or stress/anxiety. You need medicaiton and counselling.
