Dear Lybrateuser, - LVH is due to thickening of the heart wall muscle, the most common cause is due to hypertension
- he should take precautions, do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga to keep fit
- keep salt intake low - take medicines regularly & do follow ups as advised by your doctor.

- Since she has more than 90% block in the major blood vessels it has to be corrected by bypass surgery as advised by the cardiologists as it is a life saving measure

Madam if your resting BP is high that is more than 140/90mmHg, you need lifestyle changes like daily 30 minutes brisk walk and low salt intake. If still after one month of this your BP is on bigger side you are having essential hypertension for which you need medications.
