Your hba1c shows poor glycemic control. Consult your diabetologist, and tell him/ her of your sugar levels falling on taking the medicine. They will either change the drug itself or alter the dosage. That should help you. Also try and maintain good dietary control.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
With HbA1c% 6.8, your diabetes seems to be well controlled. So whatever is being done now seems to be working well. Following things need to be followed:
1) Restricted diet, that provides exact calories based on your ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels.
2) Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and food s made out of maida, colas and fructose corn syrup containing products.

Dear , yes, your blood sugar levels are ok at present and it is because of your exercise and diet. However this may also be what we call as a" honeymoon" period and your diabetes may bounce back. Do keep a regular check on your sugar levels. For the time being you may discontinue the tabs.

Dear . You do have diabetes and since you have not mentioned your age I presume it to be type 2 diabetes. Besides following a diabetic diet you should do 45 min of brisk walking and you need to start on medications.

Hello, constant high sugar, i. E hba1c above 6 means that you don't have good control over your blood sugar levels. This is definitely a good reason for burning in the feet. Try reducing your blood sugar and the burning will reduce gradually.

You probably seem to have diabetes mellitus which you have marked wrongly as diabetes insipidus.
Readings are okay. But I will say they are just borderline.
Had hba1c less than 6.5 it would had been better.
What medicines are you taking.
