I have seen the details given. At 38 years your hba1c% should ideally be < 6.5% & fbg <100 mg & pp <150 mg. If these values are attained then you will be able to remain free from or prevent the long term complications associated with diabetes. Therefore, with present hba1c% of 7.4% it is clear that there is a need to look at your overall treatment which includes drugs, diet & extent of daily exercise plus maintaining near normal body weight. 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). ) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do.
2. Don't Overeat
3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever ur mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is ur tradition...more
