First it would be better to know on which surface the restoration has been done. Try maintaining proper oral hygiene as advised by your dental surgeon.

You need to undergo complete scaling of your teeth with some antibiotics, mouthwash and vit c supplements for pyorrhoea. For hole in tooth you need to get it rct treated and crowned (cap). the sugar level is very high that would restrict from doing any means of surgical procedures as such. So it is undoubtedly better to go for dentures without undergoing any implants for her.

Receding of gums is mainly caused by periodontitis. Its better if you consult a nearby dentist and get your treatment done. It will not correct with medicines only.
