Developing "pyorrhoea" at 19 years is not a very good sign for the future well being of your teeth. It suggests at least some degree of negligence and carelessness on your part. Also, gum disease arising at such an early age might be more aggressive in its overall natural progression.

Get scaling polishing done by a dentist than brush twice daily especially at night massage gums for alignment consult a orthodontist you may require braces you may have to loose some teeth to generate space it takes about eighteen months to complete tt n costs about fifty k.

Hello Lybrate user. Well you can do scaling. But after that there might be some cervical abrasion on some of the teeth. Ask your dentist to check that up properly and treat it if it's necessary.

There is certainly a way to avoid it, that is maintenance of oral hygiene. Brush twice daily, keep your teeth clean and visit your dentist at least every six months. Medicines are temporary relief .you need to go to a dentist for exact diagnosis and treatment. It is not possible to cure cavities. Bt yes you can take precautions of your oral health to do not let it grow. Using flouride containing toothpaste, use mouthwash, rinse mouth after every meal. Brush nd mouthwash twice daily. And if cavity is slight deep get it filled so food don't get lodged in the cavity.

Causes of pyria:
bleeding gums are caused by inadequate plaque removal. Plaque contains germs which attack the healthy tissue around the teeth.
