You can drink green tea and you can eat the left over leaves. It may have some benefits. However it does not lead to any weight loss as is usually advertised. Green tea has anti-oxidants which is good for health. Similarly all fruits and vegetables too have lots of anti-oxidants. Take it as a health drink only.

Dear lybrate-user! green tea is a normal diet supplement. It has no nutritional benefits. Its believed to have some antioxidants. It is not an approved treatment or cure for blood pressure, diabetes and gall stones. Hence you may choose to drink green tea how many times in a day as you may feel like. But pls do not use it as a substitute for anti blood pressure and blood glucose medications. It will cause problems then. Best wishes.
