I would suggest a combo treatment of monthly intralesional steroid injections along with silicone gel sheets. Cryotherapy can also be useful. The treatment cost depends on course on the size of the lesion. At my clinic it starts at rs. 500 per session.

Hi lybrate-user jain, I would like to see the photographs of your father or else a video consultation could be better. Is your father having the same swelling previously before the extraction of the tooth? Or the swelling occurred after the extraction? Some times traumatic extractions might result in swelling and also due to injections I wanted to see the photographs if possible or else the patient on video call if possible for suggesting the best treatment.

Hi lybrate-user, sorry to say this there is no home remedy for your mothers problem all she have to do is get the filling done or eat on the other side. Try not to fill with any materials which could lead to a serious problem in future.

No treatment might help you get rid of them completely but cryo, injecting steroids may help them flaten and also alleviate discomfort.
