Mr Rakesh Kumar, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Uric acid 10.6 mg is quite high. But please tell me what symptoms do you have, because nothing is mentioned about that aspect. Only increased uric acid is not such a problem unless there is gouty arthritis.
Since treatment has been started, it will take a few days for seeing any results.
Plus you will have to follow certain precautions which I am sure doctor treating must have already conveyed. Those are: 1 Stop ta...more

Most of the time, a high uric acid level occurs when your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid efficiently. Things that may cause this slow-down in the removal of uric acid include rich foods, being overweight, having diabetes, taking certain diuretics (sometimes called water pills) and drinking too much alcohol. There are lots of information that needs to be explained in detail according to your report .each point plays a crucial role hence needs to be clarified.

Mr Mahesh Kumar, Thanks for the query.
With uric acid at 7.9 mg/100 ml and having swollen great toe, means you have gout. In that situation along with anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs you need a drug to reduce uric acid. So you may start it. Also please avoid purine containing foods like red meat, organ meat and sea foods. Plus refrain from alcohol, sweetened aerated drinks (colas) and smoking. Thanks.
