Not at all, weight gain powders are full of empty calories that will suppress your appetite which will make you eat even less.
Try to sleep for minimum period of 8 hours. Practice diaphragmatic breathing. Eat more fat soluble vitamin rich foods.
Focus on core muscle workouts such as back and glutes.
Avoid packed food.

1) weight is a sum total of bone, water, muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy. Immunity of the body is based on muscles and so its important to have optimal muscle mass.

Dear lybrate-user, it is not recommended to use anything such as weight gain powders for baby mere 3.5 years of age.
But here are tips that can help her put on weight easily.
Avoid any powder (chocolate powder) or any in milk.
Do not consume biscuits as they contain no nutrients but hollow calories that temporarily suppress appetite and do not provide any nutritional value.
Avoid packed food such as noodles. Add more full cream fat dairy products in diet such as ghee, curd.

Focus on core muscles workout involving larger muscle groups (back and glutes) weight gain or any supplements for that matter can cause digestive distress such as abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Weight gain takes time and commitment. If you workout well and sleep consistently for 8 hours daily, you will gain weight eventually.
