without looking at the ecg and echo report, it is hard to comment on condition of the heart.
Shortness of breath has 2-3 reasons mainly at this age. Heart related, lung related and others.
Since she is taking deflacort but no mdi pump was given, I think you should reconsider the treatment. Regards.

It can be because of sinusitis or polyp nose or allergic rhinitis or sore throat or dns or adenoids etc. I need detail of case. In the mean while follow this 1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if w...more

1. Do saline gargles daily (preferably twice).
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.

Persistent complaints of nose and throat may be due to allergic factor like weather, dust, inhalant in atmosphere which may have to be identified by self exploration and to be avoided wherever possible. If not medications like decongestants, local seasonal steroids etc are to be tried. 1. Avoid exposure to cold
2. Take bath with little warm water 3. Do steam inhalation regularly at least once a day
4. Warm salt water gargles daily 5 no cold water / cold drinks / ice creams and so on
6. No smoking/ avoid pollution 7. Wash hands after use of bath room and before and after eating food.
8 more warm liquids medicine can not be advised for open question for medicine contact on private consultation good luck.

you need to get a pft spirometry to ascertain whether you have obstructive or restrictive airway disease.
If any of this disease is detected on pft then further investigation can be done for evaluation of chest for the final cause of breathlessness.
Do you have any history of allergy to dust smoke animal dander, cold cloudy weather increases breathlessness.

It's not like that. During this treatment most of patients not able to brush their teeth and food particles are sticking in teeth. If you not maintain your oral hygiene that may cause bleeding gums, receding gum. So pls take time to brush in proper manner specialised brush and techniques. Do deep cleaning by dentist.
