Hi, Horlicks is an energy drink. Its high on carbohydrate. Its definitely not recomended for overweight or obese individuals. It can be a good weight gainer and adding it to milk is nourishing as milk is a complete food.

First of all its not a natural food or a replacement for food. So the question of good for health does not arise. It's a personal choice that people make. Alcohol in any form acts as a stimulant and so can be addictive. So beware of its bad effects - it can damage the liver and the whole of blood vessels in the long run. So moderation is the only way if you can't avoid it. Also check your liver profile (blood test) and do sonography of the abdomen to see the status of liver. Maintain good health...more

Never heard of "Green Coffee" Have heard of green tea. The thing is that all these products are NOT GOOD for the body in long run. Green tea is made from a Chinese Herb. Dear Lybrate-user, It is good to hear that you want to stop alcohol, alcohol can damage Liver, Liver is one of the main Organ in our body it produces enzymes from food which we eat, do not stop at once try to reduce quantity first and then Frequency (if you are drinking daily make it weekly twice for 1 or 2 months then stop slowly). If you need any support have counseling help by in-person or audio/video.

Hi lybrate-user,
have a glass of water 15 minutes before meal and 40 mins after meals. You can have sips while eating but make sure you don't drink a lot of water while eating as it will dilute the digestive juices which helps in digesting the food we eat.

take luke warm or boiled water for drinking purpose
take 1/4 tsp of sitopaladi churna along with honey thrice in a day
take 1-1 tab of laghumalini vasant after eating of food with luke warm water
avoid milk milk products fruits etc untill recovery
