My mother is 47 year old. She is suffering neck, arm and shoulder pain. We go neurologist and orthopaedic doctor and they suggest some exercise and medicine. But the pain is not fine. Than I go physiotherapist but the pain is some time low and some day again start. What disease this? We take cervical x-ray also. Please give me better medicine.

My age is 32 I have cervical spondylitis I did show to orthopedic Doctor he gave me some pain medicines but still the pain is there I feel it's some nerve pain near my left ear which is causing pain in my left side head and left shoulder it jas also swollen near my left shoulder should I consult a neurologist for this nerve pain. Will neurologist solve my pain problem.

My wife has been diagnosed with cervical fibroid recently during an Ultrasound. 2 years before the ultrasound done was fine but recently done again and the report says "There is evidence of well defined hypoechoic lesion measuring 38.3 mm x 26.8 mm is seen in the cervix, the lesion appeared to be connected with endometrium- S/o? Polyp?? Cervical fibroid" Now the doctor has advised a small surgery in which they use a tube and camera to put inside and remove the same with some radiations. As per them its too big and medicines will not help. Do you advise we can get it done and its safe? Also should we get the ultrasound done again for confirmation? please advise. Thank u.

You can get the ultrasound done again to reconfirm the size of fibroid. If it is confirmed then can go with the treatment advised by your doctor to remove it.

I have been diagnosed of a cervical fibroid in an ultrasound report. The report states as follows - There is evidence of well defined hypoechoic lesion measuring 38.3 mm × 26.8 mm seen in cervix. The lesion appeared to be connected with endometrium - s/o? Polyp? Cervical Fibroid. I am 32 years of age and married for 4 years and have been suffering excessively high bleeding with huge clots during my periods since last 2-3 years. My periodical cycle is normal and occurs within 25-28 days. However, because of the excessive bleeding I am suffering a lot. My hemoglobin has been extremely low all these years and in my latest report it is 7.2. This has been making me suffer a lot. I would like to know the various options that I may have including surgery, types of surgery and options other than surgery. I would want the fibroid to dissolve naturally, however I am still open to all options. I have never conceived till date and I also have thyroid and I am taking 100 mg of Thyronorm currently. Please advise. Thanks.

Hello Doctor My age is 32 I have cervical spondylitis I had done a ct scan which detected cervical in the mnth of June. Now from past 15 days I am having daily pain in my back neck. My Dr. has recently given me tablet lubrijoint 1 daily for 60 days and Saso 500 for 10 days 1 daily. Are these tablets safe will they help me. I feel like doing a xray to recheck if the problem is same or has increased. Which xray is done for cervical spondylitis Pls let me know. Will these medicine help me.

and if u want to recheck urself then do MRI.
avoid toward bending lifting weight.

I am 19 years old female. I am suffering from neck and shoulder pain from 6 years. In my MRI scan shows T2 sag of cervical spine shows block vertebra to C2-3 and C5-7 vertebral bodies. Mucosal thickening of both maxillary antra and Posterior disc bulges of C3-4 and C4-5. Will block vertebra become normal? And also I am suffering from vertigo, incomfort with my left part of neck (ear, eye.) feeling as dragging down by itself and shock by my body itself at nights. Will all functioning of body becomes normal without surgery? What type of exercise I have to do to get cure? Which medicine I have to use.

7 month ago suddenly I felt pain in my right side neck region. After 2 month of this incident I feel same pain again. I can't hold cellphone in my hand or can't do computing work for more than 5 minute. When I try to typing in mobile, pain has started but not regular. Pain is increased mainly while suffering cold or acidity problem. Then I consult with doctor & he suggest me to do x ray of cervical spine. But the report of x ray is OK. He suggested me to consult with physiotherapist. I went to physiotherapist and he show me 1.neck movement 2. Shoulder exercise 3. Spine twisting on sitting position 4. Cobra position and pranayam. I practiced for 3 days. After doing this exercise my pain became worst and continue. Now I feel pain left side neck region. What is the reason of this problem? How can I overcome from this situation?

Dear lybrate-user, don't do any exercises at all take full rest at ease. Take analgesic muscle relaxants (neucoxi mr). Take warm foamentation, SWD/ TENS/IR. Avoid bad posture and long duration in a posture, change half hourly.
