There is no medication as such for DMD in any system. As said Physiotherapy will help to prevent contractures worsening of the condition. Please register in the Muscular Dystrophy society as they will help to keep you updated on any newer form of therapy.

To be honest, one injection will mostly not cure the illness. Ankylosing spondylitis can be a disabling condition leading to many problems. You will need physical therapy along with other medication as well as clinical assessment and other blood investigations.
