Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hello. Before prescribing any treatment for your daughter, it is of utmost importance that infection is ruled out first. Basically redness and irritation can be infective or inflammatory (allergic, dryness etc). With the limited information you have provided over here, it is difficult for an eye doctor to put up a probable diagnosis. A good quality picture of both eyes will be helpful in guiding treatment plan for her. You can reach me out anytime for consultation to discuss your case in a more ...more

Hello.
Commenting upon what problem your eyes are having without looking at them will be vague at this point. The red streak you are having are dilated blood vessels of conjunctiva (white appearing part of the eye). The diagnosis will depend on its location, size and their pattern. Since it is occurring on and off, it can be due to excess eye strain, inadequate sleep, dry eyes or allergy and can be easily managed with proper eye drops and lifestyle modification. You can reach out to me any t...more

Hello. Red eye in children has n number of causes. It can be assessed by its colour, location, extent etc. Without having a look at it, any diagnosis can not be arrived at. The treatment plan will depend on it, after ruling out infection first of all. A picture of the eyes will be a great help. You can contact me anytime for the same. Accordingly, the treatment will range from observation to some eye drops/ oral medicines. Hope this helps.
