There are no food restrictions; but some doctors advice to avoid oily food; red meat; preserved; coloured and fast-junk food items. Take plenty of fruits and vegetables; simple home made fresh; easily digestable; food-small quantity-- at regular frequent intervals- with plenty of water. Avoid alcohol and smocking. Avoid strenuous life style; have 8 hours of sleep. Maintain positive mental status. Belief---some people say---avoid lemon and its' products for 3 months.

Hello ma'am,

Tt is given for protection from tetanus. Which he took so he is protected against tetanus only.

He can't take rabies vaccine after 8 months of bite or scratch. The scratch should have been washed with soap and running water and should have been examined by a doctor. He would have decided if the vaccine had to be given or not according to the category of the bite or scratch.

Now after such a long time no vaccine can be beneficial.

Thank you.
