Gently wash the area with mild soap and water to keep out germs and remove debris. To help the injured skin heal, use petroleum jelly to keep the wound moist. Petroleum jelly prevents the wound from drying out and forming a scab; wounds with scabs take longer to heal.

If the earrings are on too tightly, not allowing room for the wound to breathe and heal, an infection can develop. A piercing can also get infected if there's too much handling of the piercing or the post of the earring is rough.

Antibiotics will only prevent infection so that it does not disrupt the normal healing process. The body needs it's own time to heal wounds. You can help by taking a protein rich diet like milk and eggs and regular dressing as advised to prevent infection.

The infection will probably heal on its own in a few days. If paronychia doesn't get better after a week or so, call your doctor. You'll want to call a doctor right away if you have an abscess (a pus-filled area in the skin or under the nail) or if it looks like the infection has spread beyond the area of the nail.

If the doppler study is normal and not showing any thrombosis (clot), it may be an age-related pain.
There may not be any relation between the covid vaccine and the leg pain because having pain after 40 days of the vaccination is unlikely due to adverse effect of the vaccination.
Consult an orthopedician for better assessment and she may have to do physiotherapy.

In the early stages, scar tissue isn't always painful. This is because nerves in the area may have been destroyed along with healthy body tissues. But over time, scar tissue may become painful as nerve endings regenerate. Scar tissue can also become painful over the course of an internal disease.
