In some patients with Urinary tract infections may leads to nephritis and hydronephrosis, resulting damage to Kidney and an increase in Serum Creatinine. Do not worry, please let me know your Serum Creatinine level before dialysis. Also let me know how many dialysis are doing in two weeks period. Most probably, you may have condition called, IgA nephropathy. As it is newly diagnosed, please send me details of usg abdomen results and biopsy results, if performed. CKD has 5 stages its only last that's 5th stage that we advise what is called as renal replacement therapy in the form of either kidney transplant or some form of dialysis. Short of this patients can be managed with medications if they do not want two of the above modalities ,that too varies from patient to patient and can be decided by the treating nephrologist.
