Mr. Lybrate-user, the reasons why diabetes develops are multiple. In t1 diabetes there a complete loss of insulin secreting beta cells, due to production of antibodies. T1 is an auto immune disease. T2 is occuring either due to lack of insulin or increase resistance to its action. It is a familial disease, spreads in families. It would have been helpful if you would have mentioned your Fasting blood sugar, 2 hrs post prandial sugar and HbA1c level. 1. If your HbA1c level is less than 7.5%, it would imply a fair control on blood sugar. Thanks for the query.
For diabetes it is necessary to take the modern antidiabetic drugs (as you may be already taking). These other so called remedies may be beneficial only as a supportive medication. So if you are interested in taking that, then go ahead. But do not stop other treatment. Thanks.

The product mentioned is ayurvedic liquid. Can be given, however, one has to look at the sugar content per 5 ml in it. Thanks.

When the beta cells of the pancreas is damaged than there is less production of insulin and hence sugar levels rises and we call it as diabetes and random normal value should be less than 150

Avoid extra salt oil & maida products.
Avoid fruit juices.
Avoid mango banana chickoo grapes custord apple.
Avoid dates cashew kismis.
You can have almonds.
Daily 40 min walking is must.
Frequent small snacking instead of large meals.
Increase dietary fiber intake.

yes there are 2 types of diabetes but fruits like guava,mausami,jamun etc are allowed in both.
Following are the tips to control diabetes
1-Losing Extra Weight:-helps lowering blood pressure and cholesterol too. For woman: waist of 80 cm or more & for man: waist of 90 cm or more are at risk
