For low purine diet you need to avoid spinach, dry peas, mushrooms, sea foods, red meat etc. And water consumption should be high ,at least 1.8-2lt /day.

Coarse grains are good for diabetics. Have them in your meals preferably millets, bajra and chickpea flour. Can add these in proper proportions to wheat flour too to improve fibre content and reduce glycemic index.
But all grains have to be had in prescribed quantity only.

Looking at your weight and height, it is clear that with a BMI of 33.09 kgs/M2 you are going towards grade 2 obesity. Your ideal weight should be about 66 kgs. Which means you are carrying an extra 27 kgs. This is the main cause for being in pre-diabetes stage. Reducing your weight towards normal will help in remaining free from diabetes.

He should avoid sugar, jaggery,honey, sweets,sweet fruits like banana, mangoe,grapes, cheekoo etc. Do some exercise regularly. If blood sugar is not controlled with diet control and exercise, some medicine should be started under supervision of a physician.

Eggs are a good source of protein for every one, that is those who like to take. For a diabetic person also they are good. You may take 2 to 3 eggs per day. Again the requirement depends on any special workout if one does, because protein need may be more. Thanks.
