Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. Please understand that diabetic neuropathy is a long term complication of diabetes. Therefore, unless blood glucose are in strict control, just taking other medications will not give necessary benefits. You can try and cut down the dosage or can look at stopping one of the medications. But more importantly strict blood glucose control with fbg closer to 100 mg, pp 150 170 mg & hba1c% < 7%, is an essential aspect of the treatment...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
In a patient with long standing diabetes peripheral neuropathy is quite common. This can happen even with a fairly good control. Because high blood glucose affects peripheral nerve functions. Treatment is to achieve strict glucose control (fbg < 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% <6.5%), plus take drugs that are supposed to be helping in improving nerve function and control the symptoms. Drugs can be b12, lipoleic acid, pragabalin and/ or gabapentine and combinati...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. In patients with diabetes peripheral neuropathy does develop. But mostly symptoms are quite manageable.
