To reduce it you need to do exercise and reduce calorie intake. Also do post prandial blood sugar level test .as hba1c is 6.7 it's diabetes.

I have gone through the information given. You have mentioned only the fasting glucose level. There is no information on after food glucose & hba1c%. Also there is a need to know her lipid profile, serum creatinine & urea levels to give any specific advise. It is better if you also give information on her dietary pattern, weigh, height and extent of daily exercise. Dear lybrate-user, weight loss could be due to poor digestive system or inappropriate pancreatic enzymes released by body. Even if blood reports are normal, you may still be enzyme deficient, hence not able to extract maximum out of food, thus causing weight loss.
I would advice you to quit smoking, and drink alcohol occasionally and alcohol in moderation is ok and should not be matter of worry.
