Thanks for reaching out. Since you already had such high sugar levels and is now in control range, my advice to you is please continue taking m tablets as it will keep the sugar in check. In case you discontinue abruptly then you may feel well for the time being but when the levels will rise again (it will most definitely) then even tablets won't help control it, you will have to take insulin injections and also have serious kidney complications. I have seen the points mentioned. I understand that your mother has cough and she is on amoxy=clavulanic acid 625 and some cough syrup. However, there is no mention about the dosage of amoxy+ clav 625 (how many times a day). Plus whether the blood glucose is in good control or not.
