The cost of treatment is variable from dentist to dentist. On an average a qualified and experienced dentist will charge round about 1000 to 1800 rupees for tooth.

As far as tooth decay is concerned, filling are the permanent treatment to this condition. Taking pain killers or brushing twicw or thrice will not help. They will give you only temporary relief. Once tooth decay has occured its better to get filling done otherwise delaying it may worsen condition over a period of time which may lead to root canal treatment or surgery.
