The pain will get subsided. Then take an xray of the adjacent teeth. If any dental caries or sensitivity felt in adjacent teeth, you can go for root canal treatment of that teeth. If you feel any kind of discomfort then visit your dentist and get it checked again, if not then there is no need to worry. Sometime it takes few days to adjust to the bite as your teeth are use to the space being empty.

First it would be better to know on which surface the restoration has been done. Try maintaining proper oral hygiene as advised by your dental surgeon.
