No doctor will ever recommend that you resume smoking, neither will i.
As far as strength of zirconia crown goes, if done properly and attached properly, it is one the strongest material to be used as crown. It will not be affected by normal food articles encountered in day to day life. Do not bite on non food items, the crown may crack.

Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Dear Lybrate user, there are various consideration for implant fixation. Some of them are bone density, wound healing, medical conditions, type and strength of abutment tooth, implant itself. In your case, implant to be fixed on upper anterior portion. Here the pressure and masticatory force, bone density consideration is very important.
