If it is occurring rarely, then it might be a problem only temporarily as long as that traumatised area is causing you pain. Agar repeatedly cut Rahi hai then definitely it's a problem that shud be taken care of, as constantly if you are having those cuts in one particular area then there has to be some specific reason for it. You may have to get the cause removed as too much trauma in one particular area can lead to other serious problems. So please consult your doc to find out the reason.

Dear Lybrate user, only dental treatment is suitable for toothache. Repeated and unnecessary use of pain killers and antibiotics for dental problems is not the solution. For emergency purpose, you may take any pain killer/paracetamol. Colgate came out with their pain-out gel a few months ago, You may keep it handy. The ultimate solution is to eliminate the cause of pain. Consult you local dentist and get a dental check up done.

Multivitamin cap, for five days in the morning after meals & antiseptic ointment or gel. Apply Mucapain gel on the area of ulcer until then. Mouth sores are common and rarely cause complications. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. If you are concerned, or if the sore doesn’t seem to be healing, contact your dentist Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Advance procedures can be done with laser.
