Popping or cracking noises could just be gas bubbles bursting within the fluid surrounding the joint, or the sound of ligaments and tendons stretching and releasing. A soft snapping or clicking sound is also sometimes caused by a tight muscle or tendon moving over a bony structure.

As a matter of fact feet, the insoles help you maintain arch of the foot but if you want to naturally deal with it please get yourself checked thourughly by a physiotherapist who can check with the other factors that might influence pain and flat feet. As a hypertensive and diabetic patient, you should be ideally following a recommended diet and exercises that can help you overall.

There is a point in any painful disease like yours that continuing taking pills doesn't do an effective job. And there is no pill absolutely none that is safe beyond a year and half of use. All of them affect organs and can cause permanent damage. You probably need a surgical remedy and I would recommend seeing a surgeon for the same.
