Its always better to avoid, but if at all it should not go beyond 2 drinks per week...thats max..

Diabetes is all about metabolic problems and alcohol further slows down metabolism. Which is surely for good for the glucose uptake.

Soft and fizzy drinks are basically loaded with extra salt and sugar. Actually they donot have any health purpose but just to satisfy your taste. Instead go for coconut water. Fresh lime juice or fruit juice.

Soft drinks may not affect thyroid directly but it predisposes to many other problems like gastritis, diabetes nutritional imbalances which aggrevate any exhisting disease. Please stop have softdrinks as they are as bad for health as alcohol drinks.
