Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The surgery will be successful and your son will be able to lead a normal life. You should talk to your surgeon regarding this.
I suggest telephonic counselling and online psychotherapy for you.
You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

The testis requires to be a little cooler than the rest of the body for being able to produce sperms (the reason why it is physiologically placed in the scrotum). Now since the testis was inside your body in your developmental age, it is not possible for the testis to produce sperms anymore.
You can however become a father even with 1 testis. Please Do not worry about it or be furious about it with your parents.
Please see a good doctor who can help you out with this.

Filariasis is a parasitic disease that is transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes. It is not a sexually transmitted disease, and sexual contact with a person who has filariasis is not a direct cause of transmission.

Hello lybrate-user, filariasis has got nothing to do with what you eat. If you are positive for filariasis infection you can effectively treat it with medicine. If you already got lymphedema associated with filariasis disease, then it can't be cured. Please get proper medical help.

As your father have filariasis on both legs for 15 years and sciatica -recently --i recommend a check-up by a good medical consultant first. Then you may have to go to neurologist / ortho doctor/ podiatrist-- as per his findings --all such doctors are available in good medical colleges and terciary care hospitals.

Filariasis spreads thr mosquitoes. So kindly make mosquito proof nets protection for doors; windows etc .use mosquito repellents and mosquito nets. Take the filaria suspected person to a health centre; do check-up and give treatment-if needed. Do cleaning of your neighbourhood and avoid open water collections and solid waste collections in your area. Give health education to community on filariasis control.
