common adverse effects of anti cholesterol drugs can vary from muscle pains, increase in liver enzyme, dyspepsia etc.
But the symptoms mentioned above indicates that she is suffering with acute febrile illness, which may not be because of the above drugs,
she needs to be evaluated further to identify the causes of fever.
Pls consult a physician and take appropriate treatment.

with your symptoms, you must do an ecg, prefereably stress ecg and if required, an echo. Increased cholesterol levels do not lead to shortness of breath and chest discomfort. Please get these tests done at the earliest. Then you can consult for cholesterol .you can ry lifestyle modification first, without any medicine.
