Kindly go for a routine post bypass checks where they will do simple blood tests, ecg and echo and find out the cause for your exhaustion. After bypass, one should follow up with the doctor at 1,3,6 and 12 months after surgery and more frequently if you have any symptoms.

You can wait for the condition of your father to settle and go for surgery if the doctor feels it is time to do surgery
