Dear lybrate-user
since she has already taken both doses, she should be protected to a fair amount. However, the response to the firts dose would have been less.
Nothing to worry about. She needs to be careful as do the rest of us.

Pandemic is yet to get over. Also using a mask not only helping us to protect ourselves from covid, but also from various airborne diseases or from various other droplet infections, and even from dusts, allergens. So don't stress yourself out, just think we all are developing good habits with the use of masks and sanitizers.

Since saturation is not very low, and you have admitted her to the hospital, if she has no other complications, she should recover well with standard treatment. Speak freely with your consultant fro any specific doubts you have.
Take care.

Since you have mentioned that you drink regularly and also use nicotine patch, plus do very little physical activity. All the three things are bad from the pont of view of being "pre-diabetic". You have not mention...more

Dear lybrate-user
sorry to hear this. Pneumothorax is air in the lungs. It is not always critical. Depends on how severe it is. However, you mentioned that your father has been on the ventilator. Whether the situation is critical will also depend on how his reponse to ventilator has been. Speak freely to the consultant treating your father. All the best.

Dear lybrate-user
the vaccine and the drug interaction is probably not what is causing you to feel unwell. Deflaz itself can cause some side effects, which can be managed with other mediicnes.
Do not stop deflaz suddenly it as it should be tapered gradually before stopping. Please share what you are feeling and why you have been prescribed deflaz, so someone can. Take care.
