Use over-the-counter pads. apply a pad to protect the area where a corn or callus developed. Be careful using over-the-counter (nonprescription) liquid corn removers or medicated corn pads. There are few homeopathic remedies which help, however, if there is a corn footwear should be changed to a more comfortable one, use silicone soles separately, they too help, emoliments lotions etc can reduce the grittiness however, recurrence is inevitable even with removal because the source is friction and uneven weight on the foot.

You can do this to get rid of corns
soak your foot in warm water. Make sure the corn is fully submerged for about 10 minutes or until the skin softens.
File the corn with a pumice stone. A pumice stone is a porous and abrasive volcanic rock that's used for sloughing away dry skin. Apply lotion to the corn. Use corn pads.

Corns can be treated with homoeopathic treatment. The holes or dead skin that you see in the corn are keratin plugs which are at the centre of the corn/callosity.
advice
1. Dip your feet in warm water for 15 minutes and clean the area with a pumice stone.
2. Use soft footwear.
