Prevention
a. maintain eye hygiene
b. use two handkerchief (one for each eye)
c. keep hands clean

Treatment
a. antibiotic eyedrop like milflox
b. lubricating eyedrop
c. antibiotic ointment at night

Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include

Kindly get a dilated eye checkup for spectacle power. You may have some degree of hypermetropia. Getting numbers checked at an optometrist at times doesn't give you the benefit of dilated exam and besides, the will also check your retinal status. Thanks.

Instill saline nasal drops in each nostrils 3-4 times in a day. Clean eyes and use antibiotic eye drops every 2-3 hours in both eyes and eye ointment at bed time. Since baby is 1 month old and are prone to become serious in a short time, it is advisable to consult pediatrician.

there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc.
1. Redness + itching: allergy
2. Redness + pain + watering + decreased vision: infection
3. Redness + pain: inflammation
4. Redness foreign body sensation: dryness

as you are having viral conjunctivitis it usually takes 2 to 3 wks to resolve. As you doctor has prescribed steroids eye drops please use this eye drop under close observation only as this has sometimes serious side effects. Your vision is also effected it means cornea is affected. If you can share your recent pics general and close up I can advise you better.

1. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily
2. Take viscodyne d syrup 2tsf thrice daily if it is a dry cough or viscodyne syrup if cough is associated with sputum
3. You may have to take antibiotic along with it if no relief and carry out investigations of blood and x ray chest after consulting chest physician
