Usually viral infections may cause some loose motions and all you need to do is keep drinking ORS in water hourly or two hourly. It should recover on its own. If at all there is too much abdominal pain or blood/mucus in stool you may need antibiotics for which you may need to visit a physician. Till then just take paracetamol if fever comes again and drink lots of ORS fluids.

Since yours is an operated prostate, chances are that urinary symptoms are due to bladder dysfunction. But, this situation is not entirely untreatable. You need tolook for infection by doing urine-R; Rule out poor emptying of bladder by checking the bladder by ultrasound aftet patient has passed urine. Most of the urologist are able to instirute some medicinal treatment under the situation. If not 100% relief, the patient is likely to get reasonble degree of relief.

you should hydrate the child well. give her ORS approximately the amount of stools passed by the child everytime he passes motion. maje sure the child is passing adequate urine. give required medication timely as baby is too small to take oral curd banana and rice. still you can try very small qauntities in almost liquid consistency.

Stop bottle feeding, if given. Breast feed your baby, if there is no medical contraindication.
If stools are non watery, baby is active and gaining weight properly, it can be a normal activity for this age. It will be better to get your baby examined by a pediatrician.

He may be having amoebiasis infection and it need to be treated with medicines. As for home remedy, avoid out side food. for some reason he is forced to take out side food, let him take only hot food. so let him take only home cooked food. wash hands with soap and water before eating food and after visiting toilet.
