I am 32 years old male and 75 kg and I have ocd and panic. I have been using sertraline 50 mg with clonazepam0/5 and propranolol 10 mg for about ten days. Today also I added antioxidant and vitamin e and also I wanna add vitamin d .first question :should I use esomeprazole too or not. I have ocd for about 10 years and panic for about 5 years. But it's about two months that the gas has increased in my stomach and breathing problem and chest ache so doctor prescribed me the medicines. I exercised in mma club but in these days I can't exercise because I become so tired and have breathing problems and also belching I want to belch to breath easily but it is so hard .specially after eating something breathing be so hard and I feel so bad. Second question .is it just because of anxiety or I must add stomach medicine. I have got hpylory, thyroid, and kidney and blood test all of them was ok. So what should I do .we do not have specialists in our country please help me.

Asalamualykum lybrate-user,
see, the point is that the medicine you take for ocd only works on calming the symptoms. We call them nuerosuppresents. What they do is they basically calm you down until another dose is required. They never help you solve the underlying problem. The thing is that only therapy can do that. There are a lot of underlying thoughts or even trauma that needs to be resolved that will itself resolve the issue. If you need any help kindly do not hesitate to message me.more
