Just start hot water forementation on the painful area. After that apply any diclofenic gel. Keep doing this for couple of days. And avoild sleeping on affected side.

if you are experiencing pain, it is better to avoid it. take X ray of collar bone and consult orthopedic specialist for advice and treatment

Well this is faced by few of the new born baby due any kind of injury when the kids are able to hold their head up..u need to give ice pack to that are to reduce pain and inflammation..also have to carry until 6 months of his age with wrapping a towel to support the joint.if u think pain and dislocation has occur bring him to the paediatric probably he neeDa a sling or caste after taking an xray..

It may be due to cervical radiculopathy, you may need to get it examined for Any posture related issues, presence of cervical rib, vitamin deficiency.

Do some stretches and exercises for your Trapesius and Sternocleidomastoid
Do Retraction exercise regularly.
Do Hot Compression over the Painful areas of your neck.
There are other different stretches and exercises available that you need to do in a daily basis with Electro Therapeutic Modalities. So I suggest you to consult with a Physiotherapist ASAP.
