Please do not delay Radiation therapy. As the benefits of radiotherapy will be lost if you delay radiation.

Dear,
if oncologist has told you that it is not related to cancer, he may be right because bone metastasis makes the disease as stage iv which is very advanced. I hope you have got pet scan done which will confirm if she has bone metastasis. I will recommend bone calcifying treatment for her which should give her relief.

Hi lybrate-user
With the details you gave, most probably your uncle is having glioblastoma. After surgery, radiation should be given to the region of brain where tumour was located. This is the internationally recommended treatment. Alongwith radiation he should have an oral tablet of chemotherapy daily. Despite treatment the average survival observed in our hospital in such cases is around 20 months.

A plasmapheresis procedure, if attempted before the start of treatment (with appropriate chemotherapy), is likely to bring down the hyperviscosity that can reduce the chances of a stroke. You may see...more

With proper treatment 5-yr survival rate in stage 2 breast cancer is very good. Radiotherapy will be required for tumor size more than 5 cm or when there is lymph node involvement. If the surgery is BCS not MRM, postoperative radiotherapy will be given. Chemotherapy toxicity depends in particular chemotherapy drugs. Share the details of chemotherapy treatment for further information.
